The Story

From abandoned to fully leased, King Street Station today is a major Chattanooga success story of a transformational adaptive reuse development. In 2017, we purchased a 75,000 SF abandoned and windowless cold storage facility constructed in 1912 and a dilapidated surface lot on King Street in an area between the vibrant downtown core and revitalized Southside. The two-acre site was redeveloped and now features: a six-story mixed-use office building with a national pizzeria and a local brewery on the ground floor; a Moxy boutique hotel by 3H Group with one of the coolest indoor/outdoor bars in the city; and onsite parking. The repurposed building is outfitted for around 400 employees.

Today, King Street Station is a vibrant center between downtown and the Southside, and it offers a variety of exciting amenities to the tenants and their visitors, residents, and visitors of the Scenic City. With pizza, beer, bourbon, a lively boutique hotel and railyard themed bar, onsite conference center, fully leased office building, and onsite parking – King Street Station has revitalized a key area in downtown Chattanooga that’s just steps away from historic attractions, entertainment centers, and a bustling retail and restaurant scene.
